Armenian weightlifter in the men's 77/85 kg classes — European Championship silver medalist in 2007, 2008 and 2010. Competed at the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympics.
At the 2010 World Championships in Antalya, Khachatryan won snatch gold in the 85 kg class with 175 kg but did not finish the clean & jerk due to an arm injury.
